Hi my transmitter hasn't arrived yet but I have a battery and a telemetry set hooked to my hexacopter. I was wondering if i could do guided mode without having a transmitter at all?
The Arduplane answer is no, because you can't do a radio calibration. Maybe a copter person can verify. But overall, you should be less trusting of untested autonomous systems.

Even if you could...you shouldn't fly with the ability to reclaim control. You need Tx.
Each take-off requires a land... if you want just take-off...
I would say, don't try before doing a full calibration of your APM, which require TX for that,
TX is need to regain the control if something goes wrong, and not just TX, but experience too.
Before jumping to guide mode, you need to be SURE Loiter and RTL works fine. Guide need GPS and (Like Loiter, RTL, Auto).
Before flying any mode, you MUST be sure Stabilize is stable.
