I've just loaded new firmware on to my APM2.5 and restored my saved parameters for this setup, but the voltage reading is displaying lower than it really is. Eg mission player will display 16.2V when the true voltage is 16.6V.
I have it set in mission planner to:
Monitor 4: Voltage & Current
Sensor 4: 3DR Power Module
APM Ver 2: APM 2.5 - 3DR Power Module
Is there a way to fix this? I've tried setting the voltage divider differently in the advanced parameter list, but it looks like this setting is ignored.
If I try and add the APM input voltage, I get a pop-up from mission planner saying 'not available' It's MP 1.2.48
Cheers

so no one has ever solved these problems??
I am also experiencing this similar problem. It might have to do with the most recent mission planner update
Did anyone ever find a solution to this problem? I just upgraded my APM 2.5 to an APM 2.6 and am now getting this exact same issue with the voltage and current values shown in Mission Planner (and in the OSD) completely wrong. Voltage is reading several tenths of a volt low, and current is reading several times actual current consumption at idle.
This is quite frustrating because the whole point of upgrading from 2.5 to 2.6 was so that my compassmot magnetic field interference values wouldn't so high, but now that I'm upgraded to 2.6 the compassmot values are certainly meaningless because the values measured for current during the compassmot process are garbage.
Hello Glenn! Take a look here: http://copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/measuring-your-battery-voltage-and...
I hope it can solve your problem!
Anybody?
I've noticed that my current consumption is displaying 5A at idle too, which I'm pretty sure isn't a correct value.
