I am starting to question my google-foo, it seems all I could come up with was a brief mention of this with TC the creator of this board, and a user that did not seem to be a adrucopter enthusiast.
Seems that this is a natural candidate for the progression like the Megapirateng port. This is more of a wish to think I have time to also take this on in any "quick-like" sort of way. However since I received once of these wee 35mmX boards I was quick to determine if it was possible, or a waste of energy. The design seems quite efficient from initial inspection and I would like it have a case of some sort, if nothing else to protect the baro.
Is this a worthwhile exploration? Is this possible, or did I miss something I overlooked. I would not be surprised if I have, as I think I may have been burning the candle a bit at both ends recently.

It's probably possible, but you would want to make a HAL build target and submit it to the project. I don't think you want to be maintaining a port of a quickly-moving project like Arducopter. Either way, it's probably a very big undertaking.
I needed a bit of discouragement, although I think it is possible the "should you" comes to question, and on top of that I am not sure of the revision changes to the hardware that looks like it is knocked of about as often as a bank that choose to park its money out front in the street.
The size of the board was intriguing alone with the price, when comparing to alternatives it could have significant advantages however to do it right I think it is more than a project I wish to hoe alone. This is withstanding hacking something together on another insominatic string of nights, if for some reason that happens I will be sure to share.
Besides the VRBrain Micro do you know of any other alternatives that are Adrucopter native and of similar size? Please pardon my ignorance on the subject, as if there is a readily available like I was not aware.
That was my thoughts also, as everything always can benefit by smaller platforms I hope to find items or a solution that is also stable and since I have not seen market acceptance of these, and noting the same reviews that you have mentioned I have been hesitant to even go down that path... Have you tried any personally?

@F.C. : If you like the AC FW I wouldn´t waste any time on porting , if you earn more than 2$/hour at your job. I recently bought the VR Robotix uBrain as a tiny alternative for my PIXHAWK. This is a real nice flight controller, not limited as APM is, concerning real enhancements like EKF. Its hard for me to find out if I am really missing the extra sensors PX is offering. I agree, and like VR products, this posted started looking for test FCs for a 270 sized UAV. The VR Robotix Micro Brain is currently slated however in the mean time this other board crossed my desk. I look forward to seeing how the VR Brain Micro performs on this new small frame
TimeCop named his FC as an alternative to the Naza fc which he seems to hate with a passion.
