ArduIMU and Ardupilot 2.6 - slow roll response

Need some input on ArduIMU.


This is the first time I'm using it instead of thermopiles.  Everything seems hooked up ok but I'm getting a lagging response from my roll control surface (using it on Aileron).


The elevator response seems much tighter.


Has anyone noticed this?  Is this just a PID thing?

  • Actually, it's noticed when I roll the plane manually, independant of the sticks. I move the plane and the groundstation shows the plane slowly responding to the movement.

    Will try some air tests today
  • I also upgaded to 2.6.2 recently.

    Perhaps the extra stick filtering is doing this?
