Artificial Horizon

Hello

i have downloaded the latest quad and mission planner software. i have also calibrated my quad as per the requirement, compass, escs etc.

but my artificial horizon is incorrect. if i face my quad apm pointing forward face to face with my monitor and bank my quad 45 degrees to the left. the artificial horizon says in banking right. ie the ground level on the left is high and the sky level on the right is down indicating a bank to right.

any ideas ? the quad flies perfect and control is correct.

  • Im thinking of the wing angle and not the horizon.
  • Sorry guys im loosing the plot. Yes it is correct and im mistaken. My apologies. Dont know why I got confused. Maybe as im not used to the flight planner interface.
  • Hi mike

No its opposite. Im looking at it as if im in the pilot seat of the quad. If I roll an aircraft 45 degree angle of bank in a left turn. The horizon would drop to the left and go up on the right. On misson planner it going up on the left on down on the right as if in doing a right turn.
  • That is correct.

Tilt your head with the quad, how does the real horizon look?

Tilt your screen the same as the quad, is the horizon level?
