Brushles Gimbal Lock on Target?

Hi,

is it possible to use the gimbal function from APM to lock on a target with a brushles gimbal? 

- so that the copter itself rotates the camera whereever it is supposed to look at? 

Any ideas are welcome!

    To my understanding, not yet. But in 3.3 there could be brushless gimbal support for alexmos and storm32..
