camera and gimbal size

For a ~3kg UAV what is a popular camera and gimbal combination?  GoPro with stabilized gimbal?  Other options that may offer improved video?

    A 2 Axis gamble with Sony A6000 works very well for us.

        We have used the Maytech out of China with good success.

        Have tried a few others and there have been problems, mostly in design, that have kept us with these.
