Last year I bought the 3dr DIY quadcopter kit and purchased separately the Spektrum DX7s transmitter with the Spektrum AR8000 receiver. I only just recently assembled everything. I have updated the apm with the latest update, calibrated the esc's, made sure the propellers are correct and made I selected the correct frame in the mission planner setup wizard. The problem I am having is trying to take off. It seems to want to flip to one side. Can anyone give me any tips? Is there something I need to do in regards to the settings on the DX7s or does it work automatically from the box? Any help would be great!

Did you check your motor rotation? As I understand it, two rotate CW and the other two CCW.
