cannot connect any more to my APM2 board

I just tried to connect to My APM2 usin APM planner 1.1.48 and connection failed every time.

Then I try connect in Terminal but cannot enter CLI mode, the board is initializing and then send all MAVLink info on the serial, but cannot enter CLI (3 times enter)

The code inside is Arduplane 2.28 from the planner, and the connection to APM planner was working yesterday (last time connected)

I even compile again ARduplane with Arduino 0022 relax patch, but cannot send the code to the board. In the Serial monitor A cannot send any command, but receive all data. I noticed  the message  "no dataflash inserted", I don't know if this is relevent. The TX LED stay lit and I receive all data.

The TX LED start flashing/stays lit only after Serial port opening, but the code in the board seem to work: A can command the servos, and start the motor.

Please Help! 

Another thing: I plugged my Minimoad noticed and on the screen ti was written Waiting for Mavlink Heart-beat, but noting else was coming.

And I noticed My board gets pretty warm, even powered by USB. I don't know if it was already warm before.

Is there a way to erase the EEPROM without being connected ?

  • I am haveing a similar issue with my APM board. it is a 1.0 with 2.33 firmware installed. I can only connect via usb but the ability to link via usb is random and i can not get it to repeat consistantly. not sure the issue. let me know if you find out anything.
