can't configure radio in CLI on mac

I'm trying to calibrate my radio in the CLI, however, when I type radio in the setup mode it just outputs "Radio Setup:"  I hit enter on the keyboard and it does nothing. I can't type anything so I just have to close the CLI window to get out of it.

Any ideas?

  • Ok, Broke out the O-Scope and found that the power cable to the RC receiver was not getting a good connection. Verified PWM output on the receiver, plugged everything back in and it worked!

    It will lock up if you aren't receiving PWM. Check that the blue PWM light is blinking.

  • Exact same issue here as well. Locks up at "Radio Setup:" in the CLI. Tried using Arduino to upload firmware and setup as well without success. I tried closing and re-opening the terminal several times but still nothing.  Using WinXP with 2.0.26, did a fresh update on the APM mission planner too.

    I actually had to comment this line out in the Planner tab to get 2.0.26 to compile

    //Serial.printf_P(PSTR("Planner Mode\n\Not intended for manual use\n\n"));

  • I have closed, re-opened a few times.  Then for whatever reason it worked after about 10 times. Who knows.

    I saw this for the first time today, using 2.0.26 on a PC, however. So, I don't think it's Mac related. All I did to progress was re-enter terminal and try again after APM reset. What have you tried so far?
