Could you give me .log file showing this effect, with Motors turned on? I was involved in the code changes that reduced the effect on the average copter. I am interested to see what is causing this effect now.
In general reducing the yaw_rate_p should reduce the severity of your problem.
I have the same problem with my Big x4 quad with 16 inch propelers, 3 kg weight and huge of power. For small one (12") this phenomena not existing at all.
