Hi!
I'm trying to add/change a portion of the 2.38 code so downloaded the 2.38 and opened it in arduino 0022. Before making any changes, I just loaded the arducoptermega.pde code and have arduino compiled it as is. A lot of error codes showed up in the bottom screen of the arduino interface. Please refer to the attached image.
Also, when I extracted the 2.38 files, an error message popped up which I ignored stating there's a problem encrypting the folder where the extracted files are placed.
Any suggestions on resolving the error/s? Thanks.

There is a thing with Arduino that used to drive me crazy until I figured out what was happening. If you are reading the code and trying to figure it out, you become confused and overwhelmed some times and feel the need to take a break. You come back to your computer and the screen saver is on. If you hit the space bar or enter key then Arduino does this action. You think you just come out of pause mode but you have also edited the file and may not realize this fact.
From the errors I see on your screen shot I think this could be whats happening. You should extract a fresh copy from the zip file and try again.
Also if your Arduino session has gone to screen saver, always hit the Ctrl key or move the mouse.
You have to copy the current libraries into the Arduino folder that contains your sketch folders. If you have a long list of things mising, variables" not declared in this scope", "**** not defined in this scope", or stuff like that then Arduino doesn't have the proper libraries.
