I am running from a DX7S, all the help on here seems to be not working... I have an external battery source hooked up directly to the servo, the signal line going into output ch 7, and the signal line from the receiver going from aux 2 (pot on my remote) to input ch 7 on the apm
please let me know any thoughts on how to get this to work!

What is it you are trying to do? If you just want to run a servo from your aux2 pot then plug the servo signal and ground into ch 7 on your reciever. Don't power the servo from the APM power module.
Also if you are going to just use the signal wire and separete power for the servo you need to connect the ground wire to complete the signal path.
APM only passes though signals in manual on the ch1-4.
