Creating a Swarm/Multiple UAV flight

Hi all,

I am attempting to create a multi-vehicle flight using Ardupilots built in swarm feature.  I am trying to get this done on a tight schedule and on a budget.  

I am trying to get this done (for now) on the SkyViper V2450GPS frame since it has ardupilot built in.  

So the issue I am having is that I cannot seem to connect to multiple Skyvipers on mission planner.  I have the skyvipers set on Station Mode all connected to the same Access Point.  I have the IPs of each.  When I attempt to connect to them I either 1. Cannot connect over TCP with port 14550 or 2. When I attempt to connect over UDP, it connects to all of them as one drone.  

So my question is, does anyone have any suggestions on how to get mission planner to connect to each drone separately so I can use the swarm feature, OR is there a better platform quad out there that this would be more compatible with.  I wouldn't mind doing some DIY kits with a pixhawk or ardupilot built in, but many of the whole kits I see online are shipping from China and would take too long for me to get them for when I need to get this done.

Any help or insight is GREATLY appreciated.
