We tried using the APM on an Align T-Rex 600 for the first time. However, when increasing the collective to more than 50%, the cyclic goes haywire and we're unable to fly the helicopter. Below are the links to the youtube videos of the test. We also tested the apm without the blades to safely observe what happens during that period. We believe that it has something to do with the tuning of the PID. Can anyone tell us or at least point us to what causes the problem?

Looks like it could be a power issue. Is your BEC built into your ESC? If so I would try running a seperate BEC. Maybe it's draining power to the servos after that certain throttle curve. Are you running a nice ESC/BEC setup or are they hobbyking specials?
Wow, that's a weird one. It's hard for me to make out what's happening exactly, but I don't think it's PID. I think this is more like some kind of problem with the servo signals. Can you post your Parameters?
What kind of servos are you using? Exactly which model? I'm almost wondering if they are 760uS servos.
