Hello DIY Drones community -- I am reposting this in this section in hopes of getting a response as I am pulling my hair out. I am currently putting my first ArduPilot Mega board together and have all of the soldering done and the firmware loaded. When I go through a few of the tests I noticed that the compass test is returning all zeros, even when moving the board around. I desoldered the board from the pin header to check everything out and noticed that 2 pins on one of the ICs are crossed with solder. Every function is working EXCEPT for the compass. Would someone be able to tell me if this is normal?
