ESCs Inside Carbon Arm Boom

Wondering if anyone has any experience with putting the ESCs inside the arm booms. I notice that various folks are making mini 40a ESCs that will fit in an arm boom but don't know if that's going to cause an issue. I want to clean up my setup as much as possible so I thought that might be a good idea. I have a Tarot T810 with Tarot 4114 320KV motors. Right now, after a 15 minutes flight, the ESCs are not even warm.

I'm in middle of a build and was looking at installing the Hobbywing 40a in the carbon booms of a Tarot X6. Did you install yours in the boom? If so how did it work out? Summer days add more heat?
