Failsafe Doesn't work in Auto and Loiter Mode?

I was doing some testing on APM 2.5 and aurdplane 2.74b and noticed that fail-safe is working fine in manual, stabilize and FBWA modes but when i switch to auto or loiter mode the fail-safe does not work even GCS is displaying Fail-safe activated.

Is it normal? how can i make Fail-safe work in Auto modes?

    Have you set FS_LONG_ACTN to 1? If that is set to 0 it will continue with its mission in an Auto mode.

    I had a quick look at the code "events.pde" and I think everything is ok with it!!!
