Hello! I've working in my Hexa since 6 months ago and it is flying since 1 month from now.
I have just one question... How much time your flight long? I am flying with a 5000mAh 4S and a can not reach 10 minutes of flight...
This is my stuff:
- Hobbyking S650 Glass Fiber Hexcopter Frame 655mm (LINK) (improved L/G that adds +-400gr)
- HobbyKing 40A BlueSeries Brushless Speed Controller
- Turnigy nano-tech 5000mah 4S 35~70C Lipo Pack
- Turnigy Multistar 2814-700Kv 14Pole Multi-Rotor Outrunner
- Props 10x4.5
- APM 2.5 + Telemetry + Sonar + GPS&compass...
Total weight +- 3000gr. My hover is about 34A...
I tried to fly with 12x4.5 props but the hover thrust was at 20% of throttle :(
I have been playing with the e-calc for hours but I do not get any better...
What do you think?? Thank you very much in advance!

Weight is the big killer for time, more weight results in less flight time. The l/g weight of 400g is quite a lot, surely there are lighter alternatives even if they dont look as fancy.
Your weight of 3kg (im assuming this includes the ~600 for the 5000 battery) sems a bit too much. My hex is 1800g without a battery and that includes a simple 2 axis gimbal. Personally im using pool noodles as my legs, they dont look flash but the are solid enuff to give some clearance.
