Is it acceptable to have Rc transmitter on 2.4Ghz and Wireless Video on 2.4Ghz? Will they interfere with each other?

Bench testing this combination often looks good, and in theory should work, but in the air, as the RC TX signal lessens as the aircratft moves away, the video TX soon overwhelms even the most modern frequency hopping RC system.
