Has there been anymore thought about changing the image on this site? Having spent six years in the military, I'm not offended my the military motif on this site. But, at the same time, it might give people the wrong impression of what it is about. Employers do internet searches these days. I could use a fake name, but I prefer not to.

I've subbed in a new pic (Jordi's ArduPilot-powered FunJet) for now. If anyone has a better pic of the sort of DIY UAVs that we build, I'd be glad to consider it instead. And someday I'll take a good pic of our SuperStar with all the sensors and wireless stuff sticking out, so it looks the part ;-)
Jay, fair point, and I have been promising to switch out the photo. I do want to keep the Predator background and logo (it's a NASA science Predator, not a military one), but will look for a model aircraft that's more in keeping with the planes we actually fly here.
"Military motif"? I think not.
Chris has been careful to keep the site miltarily neutral... even to replacing the image of a hellfire Predator to one more recognizable as the NASA variant.
Military threads are commonly steared towards more usefull discussions applicable to the open-source hobby use of the technology.
If you are ashamed to be linked to this site, that would be regrettable, but I don't find this a military slanted site at all!
