Hey guys,
I went up for a flight today and snapped a few photos that I want to geo rectify into GE. Through my trial and errors the past few days, I have come to the conclusion of two things:
1) If you are not connected to the APM Board via wireless telemetry or through USB, a .tlog is not generated.
2) when trying to use the geo image in MP, it requires a .tlog. which I don't have because Im not hooked up wirelessly yet.
I did notice that in Palentier, it utilizes the .gpx file instead, which is generated in my case. I got 46 out of 109 photos to verify after entering in 16200s difference into the software for the time difference, which is 4-1/2 hours difference. This was based on the time that my cameras gps time said and the time on the APM log. I don't know where the 1/2 hour came from, but that was the difference. Anyways, I created a .kmz file for 19 of those images. Google Earth cant handle the file and freezes up everytime. I then tried it with only one image.. same result. I guess Im trying to figure out if there is a way to create a .tlog from a .kmz. .gpx, or .log file which are the three Im given after a log dump.
OR, is there another freeware geo image program that I haven't seen that works pretty good?
Thanks for you guys' input
Jamie

Got telemetry now, so this is a non issue.
Does this help?
