Help understanding what I did.

I put 5 or 6 way points into my Xcopter. Went and flew, and though I didn't fly the planned course, it did seem to head off towards waypoint 1 until I aborted and flew it back. All well and good.

But now at home, and using mission planner. When I tried to retreive my waypoints, I got 38 new ones.

The first one seems to be home, and it has gps co-ordinates. All the rest only have altitude, and none of them plot on the map. 

What happened to my way points and what are all these new empty ones for?

Am I somehow making these as I fly?

    CH7 is set to record waypoints by default. Perhaps you have not setup your radio properly it's triggering new waypoint storage? Please run the radio setup and make sure CH7 goes higher than 1900 and lower than 1200.

    Have you checked that you haven't got Ch 6 or 7 set to record waypoints?

    Just a thought.
