Hello everyone,
Newbie here to the RC world and have a doubt about the power distribution board for the Hexacopter.
I just bought two pdbs and out of the box neither of them seem to show continuity between the "To APM (+)" and the "Battery (+)" terminals and this seems to be odd ,(there is continuity for all the - terminals and between all + nodes except this one). Is this an expected behavior or what can be happening here?
I also soldered the battery and the APM terminals in one of the APMs to their respective cables. Then plugged in a battery to the Battery terminal and tested the output to check for the expected 5 V However as you can see in the picture below I had no luck with this.
Any ideas or advice?
Update:
Thanks for the info Tim, I will continue to solder my pdb!
P.S. I added this topic to this section since it seemed to be the most relevant. I also downloaded the schematics for the PDB but do not have Eagle to see them.
Regards,
-H

Let us know what you find out...I too just got a new hex PDB and I would hate to have the same issue.
What type and voltage of battery did you use to test with?
