Hello Everybody,I wanted to know the kind of vehicle required for flying at a takeoff height of 2000mtr and flying upto 5000mtr.Will the DG1000 fibreglass electric glider satisfy this requirement.Or a bigger banana hobby model with a wingspan of 101.5inches.Or something like Super Dimona or Cularis. I don't think you can climb 3000m with any conventional electric model aeroplanes just because I don't think you'll have enough battery power to climb for that long.
You can go down the petrol engine path but you'll have to deal with fuel mixture changing at altitude as well.
