Hello,
HK, once again thanks for the awsome GCS!
Just a few questions regarding the GCS and APM 2.012
I understand that APM 2.012 is beta but I am curious if anyone is having luck with these few issues.
I just want to make sure I am not missing something, which is usually the case.
The airspeed (not gps G/S) needle does not move. Worked great with APM 1.02. I get proper indications in the A/S test in the CLI as well as the simple GCS in ArdupilotMegaPlannner.
Is there a way to slave Mag heading from the DIY Drones Magnetometer to the directional gyro display versus the directional gyro displaying ground track heading?
Is there anyway to get # of SATS and HDOP info on the status page?
Just reiterate, I am very grateful for the continued improvements in the HK GCS and understand that this is all voluntary on the part of HK and the developers.
If the questions aren't supposed to work with APM 2.012 beta that's completely fine, I am just double checking to make sure I haven't made any errors in the setup.
Thanks,
Joe

HappyKillmore/Joe,
I just installed the latest code as HappyKillmore suggested and airspeed does work for me now. I did have the same problem as Joe did before.
HappyKillmore,
I love the ground control station. As a UAV guy by trade I am so far very impressed with Ardupilot and your GCS SW. I do have a couple of questions though. Maybe you updated this on the new version but how do you delete a waypoint. I could create waypoints but couldn't delete them in the previous version. Also I am running the Attopilot IAW the DIYdrones site. I can monitor voltage in the terminal while I am in log/setup mode but I can't appear to monitor it in fly mode in the APM gcs or your GCS. Do you know of a fix for this?
Thanks,
Chris
Are you running MAVlink? Sat count and HDOP (although it's off by a factor of 100 which will be fixed in the next update. So 94 = 0.94) should be working on the status tab...if you are running MAVlink and they're not appearing let me know what GPS you're using.....
APM Binary did not have a variable for Sats, HDOP or Airspeed so I'm again assuming you're not using MAVlink. Airspeed was missing for a few versions of my GCS as the message I was reading airspeed from magically disappeared and was replaced with another one.... so make sure you're running the latest version of my GCS (currently 1.2.59 I think).
Right now, I'm not sure how the heading variable is passed or if I have access to the raw magnetometer values. I'll have to ask Doug about that.
The big reasons to move away from APM Binary and AP Legacy to MAVlink are:
1) APM Binary and AP Legacy are no longer supported
2) There is no 2-way protocol for either of them.
