Hobby King - Terrible Service

Hi all,

 

I have been waiting for an order to ship from Hobby King for 4 weeks. The order was originally delayed due to a single backordered item, that was not (and still not) in stock. After cancelling this item and sourcing locally, I was then told that the batteries which were reserved and in stock originally, were no longer in stock. I was offered a replacement by HobbyKing (via a weeks worth of email exchanges) and when the order was finally processed by the factory, informed that the replacements they offered weren't in stock?! Unbelievable.

 

It's heading for 5 weeks since the original order was placed and the order is no closer to shipping. Quite frankly the service leaves a lot to be desired.

 

Just wondering, are there any other online retailers that can be used as an alterantive for Lipo's etc? European based would be my preference.

    Many sites hold items when one or more is backordered... Always check terms before you proceed to checkout.
    Just common sense really.

    Moral of this story is never put backorder items with instock items on a HK order unless you like waiting a very long time and spending countless hours emailing your way out of the mess----maybe.

    Just a thought.
