I happened to chance upon these cloned 3DR Radios at HobbyKing while looking into the "DIY Electronics" section.
Really sad to see that they haven't credited DIYDrones / 3DR at all except a link to the wiki page. The have just coied the description from the 3DR website too. Being a staunch supporter of OSHW , I am appalled to see open-source hardware abused like this.

Their price is a real steal though, but not surprised since they take advantage of Chinese labour costs, etc. and spend no real development time on it or have any plans to give back to the community.
MinimOSD clones are stocked too : http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__31137__Minim_OSD_v0_1.html
They are stocking GPS modules which are not cloned from 3DR but are "updated GPS module that can used with ardupilot mega v2" : http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__31135__NEO_6M_GPS_Module.html
I will still support 3DR on this topic though, since they do the real development and give back to the community. Go 3DR!

Hello.
This radios can be connected to pixhawk??? Looks like no
Thanks
Haha, I got myself the RCTimer 433 MHz kit recently.
Just cut open one of the included antennas. They're for 2.4 GHz!! At 433 MHz they are no better antennas than a dead skunk..

Soren
Looks like your forecast was right!

Well they at least did the open source right, They didnt put 3dr anywhere on their radio unit. Look on ebay there are a ton of chicom manufactured 3dr radio's and apm's directly infringing with the 3drobotics trademark.
Then again this is my personal opinion and does not reflect the offical views
Ouch. Can an APM clone be far behind?
