I am trying to build a UAV out of an old 1/6 scale model helicopter and am needing some advice on how to do it. if anyone can point me in the direction i need to make this plastic helicopter into a awsome flying machine that will also be able to be programed to fly from my computer I would appreciate it sooooo much.

Do a search for Arducopter; Jordi worked on this a while back, and it all over the net. If you are using 90 degree, two servo setup is should be relatively simple when combined wiht a stabilization platform. CCPM might be a bit trickier but there are adapters available.
