Nearly all the functions of the Missionplanner work with the apc220 except editting settings and some minor other upload parts don't work why, is there a hack?

well thats the pits then. I guess I am stillnni the dark with regard to Telemetry. I'll have to pickup a Xbee telemetry kit from DIYDrones.. when I get some more hobby funds:P
@grips, you're just writing a register. The module will not be able to transmit at a frequency that it's not built for. I tried it in the higher frequency range and it doesn't work. (No communications)
To use my APC modems reliably I have to reduce telemetry rates... Usually this isn't a problem for me, as when I'm tuning, telemetry isn't my concern. After tuning I jack them back up and all is kosher. I believe any issue may stem from the APC's shared buffer... But I've been known to be wrong...

There's no hack that I know of.
uploading firmware with wireless link doesn't work with any wireless link.
Changing pid's values works with me, I get an error message sometimes, but the value usually IS changed.
If you want more help, pls be more specific about what exactly doesn't work.
