IMU lacks solder blob on 3 indicated locations..

We got a new IMU board as we've become skeptic of the data coming out of our previous IMU . Anyway, we've noticed that on our old imu, these 3 points lack a solder blob on them, whereas on our new IMU, it had solder blobs on them. I wonder if the lack of these blobs were detrimental to the apm, as we fried 3 APM's already.

We had the same problem as this one:

-prior to frying our apm. I guess we fried it(ppm and mux chips to be exact) because of the battery monitor dilemma. Or, perhaps the lack of the solder blobs above may have been detrimental as well? I tried looking at the eagle files of the IMU board but apparently, according to the board eagle file, 1uf capacitors should be there.

  • I see, haha I guess I missed it on the wiki of the apm, it was also there. Anyway thanks for the replies guys :)

  • Would be nice to have the newest eagle board/sheet. With the link in the shop you only get the old version without the 3 solder bridges  :(

Those are the filter enable pads for the gyros and are optionally enabled. I've read that in the future these may either be eliminated or enabled by default.
