@Michael O

From THIS conversation,

Would it be possible for you to put human friendly times accross the top of the dataflash graphs? Please leave the line numbers there.

While I am at it , could you please make it so that when you move your mouse cursor across the graph, the tip of the cursor displays a crosshair accross the comple witdh and height of the graph, to make it easier to read of line numbers and values..

thanx!

the second part is already possible. right click "show point values"

the reason there is no time is because the message can be logged at different rates. and using the line numbers makes no assumptions.

LOL Craig, you are assuminng I understand ANY of the gobbledygook in the log file.

@ MO   - So is the advice in the 1st post inccorrect? Just to be clear, Im not asking for actual "what time did the event occur" reporting, only "x seconds from the start of the log" Is this possible using any of the info stored in the logs?

I had something like the picture below in mind. Sine I can Graph GPS time, can it not be calculated back to minutes and scale to the top of the graph?

PS . Laugh at my crude photoshop skills, and I'll send my drone to come find you...  ;-)

pictures worth a 1000 words

Wait....What???  Is that new, otherwise how did you do that?? Very neat!

you See, THAT is why there is a picture of you on my bedroom wall., My Hero. ;-) (Kidding)

but now, I have a new problem. I am sure I am misinterpreting something. How do I read all the white blocks on the above pic? Is the 1 min mark at the beginning, middle or end of the white block?

Also at the bottom, what mode is he in the area between STAB, and ACRO? and similarly, did he stich to Stabilise at 2050 or 2600? No changes required, just explanation.

Sorry to nitpick. GREAT Addition tho.

Wessie

the left hand side is always the start. same as for modes

thanx, and the "blank area" between modes? Is that just a continuation of the mode last selected. IOW STABILISE at Line 3000 in your picture?

yes, its just indicates a change, it would be the same from that point onwards until it hits the next mode, all modes are displayed.

got it , thank you!
