MissionPlanner on Linux

So ive just managed to get linux (lubuntu) installed on my netbook and im stocked. (issues with compatibility with the atom processor etc)

Anyway, i was reading through some blog posts and i saw a version of MissionPlanner available for Linux platforms.

I did some googling but couldn't find much!

Can someone tell me how to install MissionPlanner on a linux platform

PS: im very new to linux but I CAN DO ANYTHING :) (ill work it out)

  • SO ive got lubuntu insalled, installed wine and then installed MissionPlanner but i receive this error when booting missionplanner

Failed to change to directory '/home/dean/.wine/dosdevices/c:/Program Files/Mission Planner/' (No such file or directory)

Can anyone help with this, i am able to run other programs just not mission planner.

The love of open source lol!

    Thanks!

  • You will need to install mono, and just get mission planner as zip file, msi is just another step.
Depending on your distributions Mono version you may need extra libraries.
What Linux are you using ?
