My Bixler 1.1 Drone Project

Hi all,

I newly developed a fixed wing drone with Bixler 1.1 from hk.

Below picture is autopilot cockpit module I designed for pixhawk.

I had to extend front section of the cockpit from its original length to fit longer pixhawk into the cockpit.

Also note the GPS mount and pitot tube mount.

You can see the difference between the original cockpit and 3d printed cockpit.3691328842?profile=original

When finished, all the components are nicely attached to the cockpit as shown below.

Most of the components are mounted inside the cockpit and I hope this may help reducing the drag if mounted externally.

    Unfortunately, I don't have pixracer now but will look at it.
