new ard-user with Crius AIOP needs help

hi guys,

a noob user here of these systems, some im sure my problem is a simple one to solve :)

basically, ive updated the firmware in my newly arrived crius aiop board from RCTimer, but i cant get it to 'do' anything. terminal shows a connection and firmware updates work, but when i click connect (com4 in my case, 115k), i get a mavlink heartbeat timeout. 

ive created a YouTube video to see my steps.

    Hey,

    just to bottom line this for noobs like me:

    You can't program your Crius AIOP v1/v2 from within Mission Planner (well, it will work but you won't be able to connect). To use a CRIUS AIOP board you'll need to install MegaPirateNG.

    I don't think the Crius AIOP can accept firmware form Mission planner, those images are for the APM. 

    I think you use ArduplaneNG compiled and uploaded via Arduino
