Its not that small. 750mm between motors and 6kg with Sony A5000
I would really like to know from the dev team if there is any active compensation for FC location or does it just kinda work with a bit of offset? I dont think there is any setting in parameters for FC offset from CG but perhaps the firmware works it out? For instance, take an extreme case with the FC mounted 1m forward. A pitch up about Y would create large z accelerations. Unless the firmware has some clever tricks this could be taken as the entire craft z acceleration.
Just interested, that's all. All my other builds have kept the FC right in center but this time it would be convenient to mount it forward.
