Pixhawk Remote Armed Doesn't work

Hello everyone:

Apparently I have successfully configured my board but refuses to arm from the radio, only allowed to do so from the safety switch. Once this is done everything works as it should.

I give full right rudder and nothing happens if I don't arm first with the safety switch.

I am using Pixhawk, apm 2.0 hitec aurora 9 and optimal radius like receptor 9. and I'm trying to set up a Plane

Thanks in advance

    Hi,

    This is a normal behavior for APM plane. At least this is how it works on my APM plane (the switch will arm the plane, no need to use the rudder stick)

    Please attach a log file and perhaps have a look in the PixHawk support forum. http://ardupilot.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=21

    @Wilson,

    I believe that you have to arm the Pixhawk with the safety switch first before you can arm and start the multicopter motors.

    I cannot arm the ESC in my rovers and apply the throttle without first arming the Pixhawk with the safety switch.

    • Thanks @Thomas,

      I've seen the manual and the information available and says it should be able to arm giving full right rudder. Also I forgot to mention that I am trying to build an airplane.
