Quad assembly

So I almost have my quad up and working. My quad looks almost like like Jose's quad copter part ii. It's built on the ArduPilot Mega with OilPan. I'm trying to figure out what I need to do, in order to have the left and right spin CCW. I'm using the same props, motors, and ESC. Is this a software or hardware "problem"? I'm just scared to let go for the first time.

  • Yea, that's what it looked like to me, I thought I was missing something. Does anyone know if this setup is better than the others, the pros and cons?
  • How is this in the case with, http://www.diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/arduimu-quadcopter-part-ii This project uses only standard props. This is the type of setup that I have give or take a few details. It's a few cm bigger and is based on the mega. I think I even have the same motor, ECS, and props. Does the 8 degree angle over set this need? and should I have two CCW and two CW?
  • Hi,
If you want the motor to turn the other way, you switch any two of the cables between the ESC and the motor.
