Quad flips 2 days on the trot and crashes running 3.01

Hi,

I have a ardupilot 2.5 powered quad, with 3DR Power module, 3DR 433 telemetry and lea6 gps, BL-2217/19 motors, turnigy plush 25 sc's and 2200 3S lipo turning 10 x 4.3 props.  All calibrated and first flight was lovely, test stabilize, position hold and altitude hold very impressive. Flew for about 8 mins on Fri 30th Aug.  Both yesterday and today both my flights ended after about 2mins 30seconds with a violent flip and an inverted crash from a couple of meters high.

I have attached my tlogs and datalogs and wondered if someone could advise what they think could be the problems.  I have spend most of the day reading up and analysing logs but i dont fully understand what im looking for and i do appreciate the time anyone can spend helping me.

Im thinking this could be power related and wondered if it is possible to power the AP with a 4.8v 4cell NiMh pack but still monitor the lipo voltage using the 3DR power module???

Many thanks in advanced

Tony

  • I noticed your voltage dropped to 9.2 volts at one point with a current up around 36Amps.

Have you disabled the low voltage cut offs in your ESC's?

This is just the most obvious reason I see at a quick glance.
