Sending Data from Raspberry Pi to ArduPilot 2.5 using Python

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know how to send data from Raspberry Pi to ArduPilot 2.5 using Python? Using serial communication or something else. I am working on vision-based navigation without using the GPS. My navigation algorithm would figure out location updates at certain intervals which could be converted to GPS location. I need to pass these information to ArduPilot 2.5 using some sort of link. Please help!

You can use http://qgroundcontrol.org/mavlink/pymavlink python bindings
