slight altitude climb in loiter and a PID question

when I throw my hex into loiter it holds position really nicely but climbs ever so slightly. any ideas?

 

also I haven't change any of the PIDs for my hex and it seems pretty stable and I have preformed quite a bit of flying on it. my hex is 750mm between centres,  so if I start to muck about with the gains, any tips?

    Did you check the parameter value for THR_MID? It needs to be set where your throttle is for hover. The default is 500 or 50%. Test altitude hold first before you try loiter. Another way to test is when you switch to altitude hold and it climbs and you move the throttle down and it stops and holds altitude then your THR_MID is set wrong.
