System.Exception: Missed ID expecting 0 got xx error in APM 1.0.82

Pardon the cross post, I put this under XBEE troubleshooting but no hits there.

 

My setup is XBee Pro 900 digimesh, from the PC running MP 1.0.82 I get "loading params", followed by the error message below.  "System.Exception: Missed ID expecting 0 got xx"

 

If anyone can offer advice, I'd appreciate it.  I'm going to assume this is an XBee comm error otherwise, I'm quite new to XBee, but followed the basic troubleshooting and seem to have communication between the units.  I've ordered another Xtreem Bee USB board to I can test PC to PC if nothing else works...

    Hi Michael, thanks for the quick reply.  After reading up I realized I could put the DP firmware on the modems, so I flashed them, then following the standard setup instructions I had them working in 10 minutes.  Cheers!

    your xbees are dropping data. either through power problem, cable problem or some other incompatability
