Also I followed some of your posts on TOF regarding UBLOX reporting the # of SATs on the status page. Got it working by enabling NAVSOL in the messages view. Thanks.
Still trying to figure out HDOP with the ublox, I enabled NAVDOP in the ucenter messages view but have had no luck so far.
I know I have brought this up before but found some thing interesting today regarding the Mag Compass.
I realize that the mag compass values are not yet slaved to the DG card however, the 3rd person model display next to the attitude indicator appears to move in relation to compass module.
My compass is connected via cable so I can move it independently of the the APM board. That is when I noticed the small model move by only moving the compass while the apm board/gps units are stationary. Neat!

HDOP is missing from uBlox and SiRF. I confirmed that this morning and sent Doug an email wishlist with things I'd like fixed/changed or added. HDOP only appears to be working with MediaTek1.6 right now.
Yes, the 3D model in the instruments is tied to pitch, roll and yaw from the IMU. The heading on the compass and direction of the 3D model in GE is tied to heading from the GPS and magnetometer. It might be confusing for some, but I tried using yaw as heading and the plane would "drift" around turns in GE. There's a 1.5 to 2 second lag on the GPS data...so I pretty much have to use hading from the GPS for GE.
