Throttle failsafe does the opposite...

Hi there,

I moved my Pixhawk from my Bix3 to my new MyTwinDream airplane. For some reason, the throttle failsafe works in reverse. When I turn the Tx off, failsafe is off, and when the Tx is turned on, the failsafe is also on.

I had the Pixhawk dialed in for the Bix3, so I know it works. Along with the airplane, I upgraded my Tx and Rx to a JR 783 and FrSky 2.4ghz setup.

I configured the failsafe on the Rx to 1100, the throttle failsafe value to 1150, and the throttle stick at zero position is around 1200.

I'm confused with this one. It was working fine with the last airplane and radio combination. Does anyone have an idea of what's going on?

Thanks!

  • I solved the problem today by updating to Plane 3.6 and resetting all of the parameters to default.

  • A similar thread is this one, but there was no definite answer. I'm running Plane 3.5.

  • The failsafe on the RC receiver is set to 1100, and Mission Planner verifies that when I turn off the transmitter. The problem is that the autopilot is triggering the failsafe when the throttle is above 1100, i.e. when the transmitter is turned on so that the lowest throttle setting is 1200.
