Hello. This is my first post with DIY Drones. I've been following the site for some time now and appreciate the community's strong involvement. I'm looking into building a quadcopter using ArduCopter firmware (latest) and having tilt rotor ability. See below links to example of what I'm looking into:
I've used tilt rotor abilities in the ArduPlane firmware for VTOL function but haven't read much using tilt with ArduCopter. Anyone's input and direction will be greatly appreciated. Last note, I'm also using a Pixhawk 2.1.
Thank you

Yes iin fact you need a airflow (Pitot) sensor.
Go to the Qground or APM planer declare quad with tilt rotor and change the parameter to 45°
But use this frame with fan ducted rotor or 3D print it otherwise is useless

Hello Artonique and thanks chiming in. Have you had any luck yet on finding the right firmware to run tilt rotors with quadcopters?
Thanks in advance.
