  • This drmingw is really a bad thing. Just to make you know , I had a bitlocker attack that used this to lock all my multimedia files last year. This time I re-installed it by error ...  still another virus used it. This thing has NO protection and opens a lot of doors to virusses .

  • Found how to uninstall it.

    1. Download Dr. Mingw from https://code.google.com/p/jrfonseca/wiki/DrMingw. I believe the 32-bit version is installed with ArduPilot Mission Planner 2.0.
    2. Extract the files.
    3. Open up the Windows command prompt in administrator mode.
    4. Navigate to where the files are and run "drmingw -u".

      Thanx for the heads-up...

      • Whups, seems the installer does not remove it when it uninstalls. This will be fixed promptly, sorry about the inconvenience.

I will also add a notice to the installer, so if you enable the installation of drmingw (which defaults to not install) it warns you

Edit: Seems uninstalling AP2 also uninstalls DrMingw, are you seeing something different?

    Accidentally?
Most people do not have these tools just laying around.
    • Haha, true. But the APM Mission Planner 2.0 installer has an option to include it in the installation.
