Using MissionPlanner 0n Ubuntu-15-04

I wondering if to install MissionPlanner on Ubuntu-15-04,  or instead Ubuntu-14-04 .

Below is the error I get when I try to install on Ubuntu-15-04.   What is going on , i'm new to MissionPlanner.

The XXX in error message, am I suppose to enter apm64 in where the XXX are ?

I'am using the PixHawk controller

 Error: Cannot satisfy dependuncies
 
 
 Ground station software for autonomous vehicles.

A GUI ground control station for autonomous vehicles using the MAVLink protocol. Includes support for the APM and PX4 based controllers.
If installing for the first time use "sudo dpkg -i apmplanner-XXX.deb", then "sudo apt-get install -f" and "sudo dpkg -i apmplanner-XXX.deb".
If upgrading use "sudo dpkg -i apmplanner-XXX.deb". If uninstalling use "sudo dpkg -r apmplanner2".

  • for what it's worth; it's running fine in 15.04 too, so it will work.

    maybe you can post actual terminal output when attempting to install/run ?

    Mission Planner and APM Planner are two different products. Mission Planner does not run on Linux, except possibly using Wine. Since this is the Mission Planner forum and it only runs on WIndows you might not get any responses. I am not sure where there is an APM Planner support forum but you might better responses there.
