I noticed that new version of firmware shows up now on the download site such as here:

I typically use the v2 version for the Pixhawk, what platform does v4 apply to?

I could be wrong but I think the V1 is for the PX4 v2 is for pixhawks and the v4 is for the Rev 4 PX4 that is coming out.
