Why only records video up to 5fps?

At Mission Planner, under Configuration, there is an option to choose a video input.
Sometimes I use a EasyCap card and I can get the video back of the artificial horizon in Mission Planner.
But the recording options are limited to 5 frames per second, then the video is not smooth, showing a terrible lag.

Is there some form of increase to 30fps?

Or, please moderation enable this option in the next updates!

    I think the problem is that MP expects a MJPG stream and Easycap doesn't support this.

    Hi,

    any new on this topic.

    I have also an Easycap Device,

    Missionplanner is only showing 5fps as video format.

    CPU is an I7 - so CPU sholud not be the problem

    how fast is the pc you are using? the planner trys to record at 10 fps. but that depends alot on the capture device.
