    • Very cool - is the copter meant to land by GPS, or use vision based cameras to find and land on the pad when it gets close?

      • Some of our customers land in FPV but when it comes to automation computer vision seems to be the most common choice

        • Don't most computer vision systems work better with high contrast targets, such as concentric circles of black and white? A reflective gold surface, while it looks cool, doesn't strike me as the best choice for landing unassisted. I don't mean to come off as rude or anything, I really am legitimately curious.

          • in this case, adding visual markers is the most common approach
